The Guadalajara International Book Fair 2023 presents the exhibition Mosaico. Italic code of a timeless art at the Cabañas Museum, a traveling multimedia experience that narrates the history of Italy through its cultural heritage, delving into the technique that characterizes this ancient artistic craft: mosaic. Produced by the General Directorate of Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, and conceived by Magister Art, it offers a journey of two thousand years, from the North to the South of the country; It is structured in six stations that address the historical importance of sites such as Rome, Pompeii, Aquileia, Ravenna, Palermo-Monreale, Piazza Armerina, and Baia. Visitors will be enveloped in an immersive experience that encompasses moments marked by spirituality, rebirth, experimentation, recovery, knowledge, strength, enchantment and mystery. A special module immerses the public in the gulf in front of the city of Naples, recreating the darkness and silence experienced by divers before slowly illuminating the mosaics in the submerged archaeological park of Baia.
To take the experience to a higher level, the exhibition has a system that allows each visitor to download the Magister Art Player App. This digital tool provides audio guides in four languages and access to audiovisual material, images and historical documents exclusive to the exhibition, providing a unique and personalized perspective.
