This story refers to events of the attack committed in 1897 against Porfirio Díaz, then president of Mexico, which ended up being a failed and pathetic event since his aggressor, Arnulfo Arroyo, was drunk, couldn’t find the gun he was given and he was immediately caught.
This film won the Best Costume Award at the Ariel Awards in 2010, as well as Best Movie Award at the Latin-American Film Festival of Catalunya-Lleida.
